- MARTIE PETERS has written and recorded the official anthem for his favourite football (soccer) team Lyngby Boldklub. The single is called "Lyngby Boldklub's Viking Vender Hjem". It will be released through the official club site.The players in the first team squad are backing up and the song is mixed by FLEMMING RASMUSSEN at Sweet Silence Studios in Copenhagen in early June. MPG will spend the summer finishing up the new album "The Road To Salvation".
- SHINETH is a new Swedish melodic rock band featuring the talents of SEBASTIAN ROOS (vocals, guitars, bass) and ANDERS BERLIN (drums, keyboard). There are 6 tasters of their new album "11 of 10" at their website.
- FATE has planned 2 bonus tracks; "Sweet Angel" and "Bleed" to be used on special editions of "V", but since there (so far) hasn't been any plans from the labels on special editions, the band have chosen not to use them ... yet. However, there's a good chance that "Sweet Angel" will appear on a sampler CD from MTM later in 2006. As for "Bleed" - maybe through their website?!.
- Former BRUNOROCK and MY LAND drummer PAOLO MORBINI is now involved in the new Italian/American project called 49% BAND - check 'em out!

- After being together less than two years, Los Angeles based metal band SYDERA have just finished recording their debut self-titled album, to be released on Without the World Records later this year.
- TORBEN ENEVOLDSEN has revealed that PETER SUNDELL formerly of GRAND ILLUSION will be doing all the vocals on a new solo-project. The writing is done - and the recordings will soon follow. Further additions to the line-up will be announced a.s.a.p.!

- It seems that things are a bit stormy in the ranks of Danish melodic rock band PANGEA. For a year ago (or so) they seached for a new guitarist and found LARS LILJA EKENBERG from ENIC. Now it seems that original axe-slinger TORBEN LYSHOLM is back as a sleeping partner and TORBEN ENEVOLDSEN is new guitarist!? Listen to a small "taster" here...
- The British melodic power band MARS II MERCURY is now known under the moniker SCREAM ARENA - almost everything concerning the band, bios etc. is found here!
- German veteran rockers BONFIRE has a new CD out now called "Double X" to celebrate their 20th anniversary. The tour will bring them to SwedenRock Festival 8. of June on the Zeppelin-stage 17.50!

- Now you can download 3 new tracks by the dramatic progressive Danish band ENIC through the bands website. They have changed their attitude a bit by adding a new female vocalist - exciting!
- According to their website members of veteran melodic combo EUROPE are working hard to release a new album around October/November 2006! The engineering and mixing of the album is taken care of by PONTUS NORDGREN.
- Swedish guitar aceTOMMY DENANDER is (as always) very active: DEACON STREET PROJECT II on MTM, working with HOLLY KNIGHT in L.A., promoting "Taken" by RADIOACTIVE and playing guitar on the song "Frozen Flower" sung by female artist FIDJI in the semifinal of the Eurovision contest in Latvia on february 4th.

- PER JOHANSSON of FATE is also very active at the moment - he and his wife HEIDI has signed to Locomotive Records with their UREAS project!
- ERIK RAVN and the rest of the boys in WUTHERING HEIGHTS is finished with the pre-production of their forthcoming album "The Shadow Cabinet". On the album there is a cover of the old ACHE classic "Shadow of a Gypsy".
- Danish Melo-dramatic rockers EVIL MASQUERADE is soon ready for their next album "Third Act". With a new vocalist APOLLO PAPATHANASIO and bass player THOR JEPPESEN - and TOMMY HANSEN as a producer it can't go that wrong!

- HUBI MEISEL's long-awaited new album "Kailash" is out now! The album is released through Lion Music as astonishing special edition digipack incl. 2 Bonus Tracks! It's a Melodic/Progressive Metal concept album about the Himalayas & Tibet, ancient Buddhist/Hindu mythology, and it's telling a man's and a snowlion's adventurous journey through the icy heights of the Himalayas up to Holy Mount Kailash, where a long-kept secret is finally to be revealed!
- "For The Love Of Art And The Making" - is the title of the new album from BEYOND TWILIGHT. This time FINN ZIERLER has sur-passed himself, and has written a complete Symphony. Out of one thread, he spins an almost 40 min long tale of pure metal with classical elements. The new singer is Bjørn Jansson.
- Danish guitar maestro TOBEN ENEVOLDSEN is very busy these days. His new band FATAL FORCE featuring DANIEL FLORES and MATS LEVÉN is signed to MTM and he is also laying down the last touches to the new SECTION A record "Parallel Lives" on Lion Music.

- Super melodic Danish rockers FATE - these days featuring the talents of PER JOHANSSON, PETER STEINCKE, SØREN HOFF and MICKE KVIST are having their official release-party at The Rock in Copenhagen May 6th celebrating their album "V" for MTM!!!!
- Vocalist extra-ordinaire DAVID READMAN is now signed on Frontiers Records for his upcoming solo-release. He is also very busy launching Sing-like-a-rockstar!
- It's been a while since Danish rocker MIKE TRAMP did a live concert in Australia. He has been busy playing all over USA and Europe. Right now MIKE TRAMP is doing the work for his brand new solo album. But he will play a one-of-a-kind Australian show at The Corner Hotel on Tuesday 28 March - just after some concerts in Indonesia!

- STATETROOPER are confirmed on March 3rd at rock'n roll bar The Rock in Copenhagen supported by the Swedish band M.ILL.ION and the Danish band STARRATS.
- SwedenRock Festival 8-10 June 2006 has (as always) announced several big names - and they just added HOUSE OF SHAKIRA and WHITESNAKE. Check their website for further info.
- The re-union of the four original members of super-group ASIA has left JOHN PAYNE, GUTHRIE GOVAN and JAY SCHELLEN in the cold. The already planned new album "Architect of Time" is shelved! - news will be uploaded as I get them!
- The German metal rockers WILD FRONTIER are working on ther 4th album - check their website and/or newsletter for more info!

- Frontiers Records will release the newest project from ROYAL HUNT-man ANDRE ANDERSEN featuring two vocalists PAUL LAINE and DAVID READMAN! “III” - as the album is called will be released in Europe on march 24th 2006 on Frontiers Records exclusively while the Japan release will happen on King Records.
- TOMMY DENANDER has joined forces with DANIEL, FLORES, THOMAS VIKSTRÖM and MARCEL JACOBS in the band SPEEDY GONZALES and released the album "Electric Stalker".
- JEFF SCOTT SOTO and MARCEL JACOB are busy writing and recording a brand new TALISMAN album, tentatively called “Bar”. Recording is taking place at Ulf Wahlberg’s XTC studios in Stockholm, Sweden and the recording line-up will also feature long-time members FREDRIK ÅKESSON on guitars and JAIME BORGER on drums.
