- JOURNEY has announced their new singer last week. Check out ARNEL PINEDA's former band THE ZOO on several clips on YouTube. Great (and fun) stuff ;-)
- Check out Swedish melodic AOR/Westcoast band WORK OF ART on MySpace. Their debut album is expected February 2008 on Frontiers.
- One of my favorite female fronted bands DANTE FOX will be supporting the mighty JIMI JAMISON on his UK tour in May 2008. Be there or be square...

- Sweden Rock Kick Off at Tyrol in Stockholm November 24 will be broadcasted live by Stockholm based rock channel, 106, 7 Rockklassiker. This means that it also will be sent through their web radio so that anyone in the world can listen to this years show. The show will start at 7 PM local time and end when the party ends! The first 20-25 bands confirmed for Sweden Rock Festival 2008 will be announced during the show. Direct link to the broadcast can be found on Sweden Rock's website.
- Original vocalist URBAN BREED has officially rejoined Swedish schock rockers BLOODBOUND. The band released their last album with German MICHAEL BORMANN on vocals, he didn't play a single gig with the band though.
- PAOLO MORBINI and his project MY LAND has announced that sound samples (called Medley promo 1 and 2) from the forthcoming album "No Man's Land" is available on myspace.com. The album should be out one of these days... Featuring the talents of guest stars KEE MARCELLO and Tommy DENANDER.

- Swedish shock-rockers BLOODBOUND featuring i.e. keyboard maestro FREDRIK BERGH will be supporting fellow Swedes HAMMERFALL on the "Nights of Glory" tour in Germany: 12.10.2007 Köln/Gloria, 13.10.2007 Bochum/Zeche and 14.10.2007 Ludwigsburg/Rockfabrik. One hell of a party...
- Since TIMO TOLKKI had the idea for a Rock Opera two years ago, a lot has happened. After signing the record deal with Frontiers Records, he has been working hard on the project "SAANA - WARRIOR OF LIGHT". "It has been a monumental task that has just been getting bigger and bigger".
- As a response to numerous requests, Danish/Swedish prog masters ROYAL HUNT is launching a new forum - registered users only, so check in and become a part of the "RH Community". Please ;-)

- New Swedish quartet ROAD TO RUIN featuring guitarist LARS CHRISS and bassist/keyboardist Sampo Axelsson - both LIONS SHARE is inspired by Old School bands like WHITESNAKE, DEEP PURPLE and/or BLACK SABBATH. The band is completed by THOMAS BROMAN on drums MATT ALFONZETTI on vocals.
- Loks like MIKE SLAMER and TERRY BROCK had a great time making the "video" for the excellent track "Not in Love" from the Slamer debut album Nowhere Land. Join the fun here.
- DOMAIN proudly announces NICOLAJ RUHNOW as the new frontman of the band. NICOLAJ, who filled the vocal position of the powermetal band IRONY and his solo-project NICK HELLFORT so far, will be heard first time at the yet untitled upcoming DOMAIN album, which will be released in spring 2008.

- Look out for MIND'S EYE in Sweden... 12 days before releasing the new album "A Gentleman's Hurricane" (official release Sept 14th) ANDREAS NOVAK, JOHANN NIEMANN and DANIEL FLORES will hold a signing session Sunday 2nd September 2007, at 16:30 Central European Time, at the Swedish Metal Expo, Fryshuset, Mårtensdalsgatan 6, Stockholm, Sweden.
- German based classic rockers KICKHUNTER have just released their brand-new single "Heaven Knows" via download (i-tunes, musicload, etc.). A duet between lead singer JC WESENBERG and ELA!
Their second album "Little Monsters" is planned for release the 20th of August (Rockphone Records) feat. guest stars like ROLAND GRAPOW and JAN ECKERT from MASTERPLAN. You can also check the band here.

- FRONTIERS RECORDS sign LAND OF TALES. The band is formed around KRISTIAN and PALLE, two musicians who have been playing together for fifteen years in a Finnish band called NAISKALA. During the past few years the guys have felt more and more the need to write and compose in English language and towards and more Adult-Oriented Rock musical style. Right now the guys are busy in the studio completing the songwriting for their debut album which is foreseen to be released in early 2008. Check out some of the band’s demo tracks that gained them the recording deal here.
- Swedish Melodic Rock quartet ECLIPSE is writing and recording songs that will make up their third studio album. As a special present, enjoy a small sample of "Unbreakable" here and get ready for the full attack in early 2008. These guys are getting ready to kill!
- The STARBREAKER guitar player MAGNUS KARLSSON has been quite busy in the past few months. After completing the songwriting and production for the second ALLEN/LANDE CD he has completed a new record with ace vocalist MARK BOALS. The album, entitled "The Codex" is a heavy affair - scheduled for December 07. But he is also involved with the songwriting of the sixth BOB CATLEY solo album. The producers chair wil be seated by none other than Dennis Ward. Finally singer TONY HARNELL has planned a songwriting trip to Sweden in August preparing the new STARBREAKER album. Phew...;-)
